The Oklahoma Blood Institute is asking any healthy adult to consider donating blood or blood products to help replenish dwindling supplies. As the list of blood drives canceled due to coronavirus fears, the state’s blood supply is placed at risk.

County residents trying to stay fed during the current coronavirus state of emergency have a number of options, thanks to the generosity and creativity of area organizations, businesses and individuals.

As of the state health department’s daily update at 11:30 a.m. Friday, no cases of COVID-19 had been confirmed in Kingfisher County. But of the 49 cases confirmed in the state as of that time, two were in Canadian County and one in Logan County.
