A MINORITY OPINION It’s nearly impossible to have even a short conversation with a college administrator, politician or chief executive without the words diversity and inclusion dropping from their lips. Diversity and inclusion appear to be the end-all and be-all of their existence.

As some of y’all know, our son, Jonny is in OU med center, he’s having problems with his right lung. He has had pneumonia in that lung; at this time, the lung is collapsed, and he has a benign cyst on there. They’re going to put a drain on the lung, to get the infection out.

Larry Struck

Larry Edward Struck, 84, of Kingfisher, died Jan. 20, 2020. He was the son of Will A. and Mildred Struck. Larry graduated from Kingfisher High School in 1954. He was an active member of the Kingfi sher Church of the Nazarene.

Ronald Gene Horn

Ronald Gene Horn, 84, of Dover, passed away peacefully at Cimarron Nursing Center in Kingfisher on Jan. 22, 2020, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Gene was born Jan. 21, 1936, near Dover to Harvey and Bertha Horn.

Violet Skala Egan

Violet Katherine Skala Egan of Rogers, Ark., was born Nov. 6, 1940, in Oklahoma City and passed away Jan. 20, 2020, at Northwest Medical Center in Spring-dale, Ark. She was 79. A wake will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, and funeral service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, at Sts.
