Kingfisher had one of its worst shooting nights of the season and Tuttle’s Landry Allen was a big reason. A 6-foot-3 reason. The Lady Tiger freshman recorded a triple-double that included 13 blocks Tuesday as 4A’s 14th-ranked Tuttle downed KHS 55-36 at the APB.

A MINORITY OPINION: Criminal activity imposes huge costs on black residents in low-income neighborhoods of cities such as Chicago, Baltimore, Detroit, St. Louis, Philadelphia and many others. Thousands of black Americans were murdered in 2019. Over 90% of the time, the perpetrator was also black.

Funeral services for Erma “Gail” (Arnold) Chatham, 72, of Lone Grove, were Saturday, Jan. 18, at the Rexroat Baptist Church with her nephew Rev. Brad Pletcher officiating and Bro. Edward Wise assisting. Interment followed at Oil Springs Cemetery near Oil City.
