The Democrat-controlled House of Representatives voted on partisan lines Wednesday to impeach President Donald Trump. After nearly 12 hours of debate on the House fl oor Wednesday, Democrats voted to approve articles of impeachment against President Trump.

Gerrett Spears, coach of the Kingfisher High School girls basketball team, was the guest speaker of the Kingfisher Rotary Club earlier this week. Spears narrated a Power-Point presentation featuring the principles and steps he demands of his players to build the program.

Redlands Community College recently announced students named to the college’s honor rolls for the Fall 2019 semester. Students listed on the President’s Honor Roll have completed 12 or more credit hours and have earned a GPA of not less than 3.

Lomega Youth Action Council members presented anti-tobacco and anti-vaping lessons to Lomega Elementary students during the 2019 fall semester. The lessons focused on the dangers of smoking, chewing tobacco, vaping and second-hand smoke.

Justin Wane Schnell was born April 27, 1997, to David and Lori Schnell at University Hospital in Oklahoma City and passed from this life on Dec. 16, 2019, in Oklahoma City at the age of 22. Justin was born with congenital myotonic dystrophy and was only given a 50-50 chance to survive.
