Myrtle Grape

AREA DEATH Myrtle Mae Grape, a longtime resident of the Kingfisher area, passed away Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, at the age of 88. Myrtle was born Nov. 19, 1930, to Eva Mae (Rasp) and Glen Bryon Frymire in Kingfi sher. She was the second of nine children.

Cora Taylor named county DYW 2021

Kingfisher High School junior Cora Taylor was named Kingfi sher County Distinguished Young Woman 2021 at the 53rd annual scholarship program Saturday night.

Chisholm’s day started with a loss in the courtroom, but a win on the football fi eld. The Longhorns put an end to Hennessey’s season last Friday with a 61-8 victory on the Eagles’ home fi eld.
