KCF 2026 grant cycle now open

The Kingfisher Community Fund (KCF) has opened its 2026 grant cycle to support projects and organizations that enhance quality of life in the Kingfisher area.

Hennessey may seek ambulance service

Hennessey may be in line to seek an ambulance service it was announced at Monday’s Kingfisher County Commissioners meeting.County Clerk Emily Lee announced preliminary work has started to file for a 522 Ambulance Service for Hennessey School District.

Cashion Public Schools announced last month its 2025-26 Teacher of the Year award winners for its three schools.Earning the honor at the elementary was Celena Goodger.Ctaci Slovacek won the distinction for the middle school and Tatum Robertson was the winner in the high school.
