Homecoming coronation for Lomega High School basketball will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21. The coronation will be held prior to the Lomega’s basketball games with Burlington.

Kingfisher High School has named its Students of the Month for October 2025.Students are chosen based on many characteristics including responsibility, leadership, work ethic, reliability, kindness and more.

A special meeting is set this week for Kingfisher County commissioners to interview candidates for the open position of director of county emergency management.The meeting is set for 9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20.The interviews will be conducted in executive ses- sion, which are not open to the public.

Jeffrey Don Gill passed away on Nov. 12, 2025.He was born Jan. 9, 1978, in Watonga and graduated from Dover High School in 1996.Jeff was a man of many gifts, an all-around handyman with a remarkable ability to fix anything and a willingness to help anyone.
