Voters went to the polls Tuesday to decide the fate of a proposition to renew a one-half cent sales tax in Kingfisher County for five years.If approved, the revenue generated will fund a variety of county services.Polls closed at 7 p.m., which is after this edition went to press.

City tabs Gooden to head up project

City commissioners voted Monday night to hire John Gooden as the project manager for the “Harry’s Hole” wetland project that will eventually lead to an expanded airport runway.

Dan Alan Yost, 70, of Terlton, was born Jan. 7, 1955, and passed away peacefully on Nov. 12, 2025, surrounded by his wife and children at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa.A graveside service was Saturday, Nov.

Lomega pays tribute to local veterans

Lomega Student Council held its annual Veterans Day program on Nov. 11th. Veterans in attendance were served a meal and then an assembly was held in their honor to pay tribute to them for their service to our country.
