LADY JACKETS COMPLETE UNDEFEATED SEASON

A Kingfisher softball team just wrapped up a season during which it went through league play and three tournaments without a single loss. The Kingfisher Lady Jackets last Saturday thumped Guthrie 12-0 to win the Cimarron Valley League 10U Tournament championship in Guthrie. The win wrapped up a dominant tournament and season in which the Lady Jackets went 19-0. Lily Voth pitched no-hitters for Kingfisher in both the semifinals - a 2-0 victory over Guthrie - and the championship game. Kennedy Stewart’s strong performance in the circle led to a 10-3 victory over Okarche in the quarterfinals. The Lady Jackets also won the KGSA Opening Day Round Robin and the K-Fest Bash 2020 earlier this season. Team members include, from left, Chloe Golbek, Kennedy Stewart, Aislin Barnett, Whitney Ramer, Lily Voth, Ela Hartman, Kendal Farrar, Ryan Scammahorn, Rystan Jerkins, Callie Blair and Maeli Turner. Coaches were, back row, from left, Josh Farrar, Kyle Stewart, Joe Voth and David Blair. [Photo provided]
