KHS dropped its first district soccer game of the season Thursday when Newkirk took home a 1-0 victory. Sophomore forward Jaquelin Rivera (9) is pictured in action against the Lady Tigers. The loss dropped a three-game win streak for the Lady Jackets, who are now 1-1 in 3A-2 games. Both the boys and girls were set to host Alva last Monday, but a scheduling conflict with officials forced it to be postponed until Tuesday, April 19.
