Dear Editor, I have read with interest the recent issues with whether the costs of the electrical services in a recent housing development should be borne by the City of Kingfisher (ultimately the taxpayers) or by the developer (ultimately the people buying the homes.)

Gathering items to send to the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System was the project that the Hennessey Farmerettes completed on Oct. 9 when the group met at the United Methodist Church.

• YOUTH GROUP FOOD DRIVE: The Sts. Peter & Paul youth group will be conducting its annual food collection drive to benefit the Kingfisher County Food Bank. Youth group members will be walking doorto- door in Kingfisher and collecting donated non-perishable food items from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29. For more information on the drive, including items that are glady accepted, see the ad in this edition.
