Major National Signing Day at KHS

Six Kingfisher High School seniors last Wednesday signed National Letters of Intent on National Signing Day to further their athletic careers. Three of them were KHS baseball players. Top left is T.J. Parker (seated center), who signed with Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa. He’s seated with parents Tommy and Amy Parker. Younger brother Tanner Parker is standing behind them. Top right is Brady Friesen (seated center), who will play for Redlands Community College. He’s pictured with parents Jon and Lavon Friesen. Standing is younger brother Noah Friesen. Middle left is Ian Daugherty(seated center), who will play baseball for Oklahoma State University. Seated with him are his younger sister Kadyn and older brother Cole. Standing are parents Micah and Derek Daugherty. Middle right is golfer Maddi Kamas (seated second from left), who will play at Oklahoma City University. Among those at her signing ceremony were parents Laremy and Pepper Kamas and younger sisters Hadley and Chloe Kamas. KHS boys basketball standounts signed Division I Letters of Intent. Bottom left is Bijan Cortes seated at the table after signing with the University of Oklahoma. Standing behind him are his parents Yobany and Mariana Cortes and sister Jaelin Cortes. Matthew Stone (seated bottom right) is headed to the University of North Texas. He’s pictured with his parents Michelle and Jason Stone.
