There will be a number of athletic awards and honors to report on in the next edition.

The Oklahoman began printing its boys basketball awards over the weekend, which includes its own picks for All-City, all-state and Super 5.

Girls honors were in last Wednesday’s edition.

The Oklahoma Coaches Association is currently finalizing its all-state and allstar by class teams as well.

Springs sports, although not participated, will also begin selections for their various honors in the coming weeks.
