Arlene Faye Stewart Biehler was born on the family farm just southwest of the town of Loyal on Feb. 3, 1939, to Jim and Edith Stewart.

On May 21, 2025, at the age of 86, she went to her heavenly home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

As a teen, Arlene gave her heart and soul to Jesus at the Baptist Church in Omega where she was saved and baptized. Arlene was so proud of the fact she was re-baptized on a trip to Israel in the Jordan River.

Arlene was the type of individual who had the knack for service and would do almost anything for anyone without expecting anything in return.

Arlene’s comeback was always “Don’t spoil my blessing.”

Though her beginnings were humble, she lived a life of extraordinary service and ministry to the poor throughout the world.

In 1980, Arlene and her husband Dr. Larry Biehler began leading medical mission teams under the umbrella of Larry Jones Ministry of Feed the Children.

The teams provided medical aid, eyeglasses, dental care, evangelism and children’s Bible school. Over a period of 36 years, they were blessed to have led 134 teams overseas and 99 eyeglass teams in Oklahoma.

Thousands of people were touched with God’s love through their efforts.

Arlene leaves behind her husband of 68 years who loved her deeply; four children, Dr. Jefry Biehler of Virginia, Lori Brannan of Oklahoma City, Flor Cox of Oklahoma City and Mavi Horstman of Oklahoma City.

A daughter, Juli Barnes, preceded her by three months in her trip to her heavenly home.

She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and thousands of friends around the world.

A Celebration of Life for Arlene, family and friends will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 28, at Highland Hills Baptist Church, 7900 Devore Drive, Oklahoma City.
