Arlyne Ruth Hamburger was born Sept. 8, 1933, in Kingfisher to Henry A. and Amanda Jade (Kottwitz) Struck and died Monday, Sept. 5, 2022, at her home in Weatherford at age 88.
Graveside services were held at Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 8, 2022.
She was raised and attended school in Kingfisher, graduating from Kingfisher High School in 1951. She moved to Oklahoma City where she worked for an auto parts remanufacturing plant.
On Sept. 20, 1955, she married ElRoy Hamburger in Kingfisher and they made their home in Weatherford, where they raised their family.
She worked for Logan Military Sales and the City of Weatherford in the Water Department until she retired in 1992.
She enjoyed crocheting, wheat harvest, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Keith Hamburger of Weatherford; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Robert; and one sister, Alice.
