Harold Glenn, 85, Hennessey, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023.
Funeral services were Monday, Jan. 16, at First United Methodist Church of Hennessey, officiated by Rev. P.J. Stewart and Jimmy Berkenbile. Burial followed at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry- Gritz Funeral Home.
Harold was born Feb. 3, 1937, in Plainville, Kan., to Ralph and Erma Glenn.
He was the youngest of three children.
He lived in Brush County and Rawlins in Wyoming growing up. In his teens, he moved back to Plainville, Kan., to live with his aunt and uncle.
It was then that he met Lorna Harrison.
He and Lorna were married March 5, 1955. They raised two daughters together, Cheryl Denise and Cathy Dawnette.
He leaves behind his wife Lorna; daughter Cheryl Vaverka and husband Jesse of Hennessey; son-in-law Jay Culp of Cushing; one brother, six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and his youngest daughter Cathy.
