Judith “Judy” Jane Williams Bernhardt, 84, of Kingfisher, passed away on Sept. 4, 2025, in Kingfisher.

She was born on Feb. 3, 1941, in Kingfisher to Howard and Jean Williams and was the second of nine children.

On June 2, 1958, Judy married the love of her life, Harold Bernhardt, and together they shared 67 years of marriage, building their life around farming and cattle operations. Judy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who found joy in supporting her family and creating a home filled with warmth and love.

She was a proud 50year member of the Omega EHG and enjoyed sharing her talents with others. She helped teach sewing schools, passing along skills to her daughter and friends, and was a familiar face at Vacation Bible School at the Federated Church.

Judywasalsowell-known for her fantastic cooking, her full pantry stocked with the right snacks and drinks and her ability to make everyone feel welcome at her table.

Independent and resourceful, Judy never waited on others to accomplish what needed to be done – whether it was building a sidewalk or taking on new hobbies, she approached life with determination and self-sufficiency.

Judy is survived by her husband, Harold; her daughter Robin Rother and son-in-law Tim Rother; her grandchildren Justin Rother and wife Tresa Endres-Rother, Ryan West and husband Aaron West, Jared Rother and wife Jaime Rother, and Randi Muniz and husband Daniel Muniz; and her great-grandchildren Tyson Endres, Jalie Rother, Jadyn Rother, Cody Endres, Journey Rother, Blake Endres, Jesse Rother, Emory West, Easton West, Enslie West, Naomi Rother, Mattea Rother, Judith Muniz and Lucia Muniz.

She is also survived by sisters Linda and Danny Darling, Norma and Bob Rife, and Barbara Sawyer; siblings-in-law Mary Williams, Elaine Williams, Carolyn Williams and Jim Strack; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, David Bernhardt; great-granddaughter, Whitley Rother; siblings Dusty Williams, Sharon Strack, Ronnie Williams, Carla Fairbanks and Joe Williams; brother-in-law Charles Sawyer; her in-laws, Robert and Clara Bernhardt; and brothers- and sisters-in-law, Art and Evelyn Fry and Vernon and Clella Bernhardt.

Graveside services were Monday, Sept. 8, at Kingfi sher Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.

The family would like to thank Russell-Murray Hospice and Mercy Hospital Kingfisher for the excellent care that they gave their mom in her final days.
