Julianne Storm, 83, passed away July 29, 2023, at her home in Kingfisher.

She was born June 12, 1940, in Kingfisher to Eldon Meade and Nancy (Weir) Glass.

Julie was a lifelong resident of Kingfisher and a 1958 graduate of Kingfisher High School.

She graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1962 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

She was an enthusiastic Cowboy fan.

She began her career with a local law firm, where she remained for 40-plus years and then retired to become a “farmer’s wife.”

Julie was an accomplished pianist who shared her talent with the First United Methodist Church for over 40 years as an unwavering part of the church’s music program.

She had a passion for music with a special love for the piano.

Julie loved first and foremost her family and her special friends with the volleyball group.

She was a dedicated charter member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR 6-70K) Captain Warren Cottle Chapter.

She was also an active member of the Kingfisher Altrua Club as well as an avid volunteer and member of the Chisholm Trail Museum.

Julie enjoyed antiques, flowers, family history and genealogy and traveling to Crested Butte with close friends Robert and Alma.

Julie’s life and influence will have a long-lasting impact on her family and all who knew her.

Julie was preceded in death by first husband, Max Wehrenberg; son, Steven Max Wehrenberg; and grandson, Turner Wehrenberg.

Julie is survived by her husband, Paul A. Storm; brother, Len E. Glass (Sherrie); daughter, Kathryn Lynne Whitford (Rod); stepdaughter, Julie Kay Feagins (Tom); granddaughter, Lindsey Andrews and four great-grandchildren, Peyton, Michael, Sofia and Isabella.

Services for Julie will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, at the First United Methodist Church in Kingfisher with burial following at Kingfi sher Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.
