Robert Reherman

Robert Joseph Reherman departed this world on Oct. 19, 2022, at the age of 92.

Robert was born July 5, 1930, to Emil and Marguerite Reherman (Gassen) on the family farm in Okarche.

He was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Upon graduating high school from Holy Trinity Catholic School in 1949, he started Reherman Construction and worked the land for 66 years.

Robert worked many of those years with his brother Elmer farming and building terraces, water ways, ponds, dams and many other soil conservation projects in Kingfisher and Canadian counties.

Robert was well-respected in the community for his work ethic, integrity and dedication to his family.

He was also recognized by the East Canadian County Conservation District for his commitment to soil and water conservation.

Robert married Patricia L. Kastl on April 23, 1960, in Yukon.

Robert is survived by his wife of 62 years; four children, Richard Reherman of Okarche, Karen Stephan and husband Michael of Cave Creek, Ariz., Paul Reherman and wife Jennifer of Enid, and David Reherman and wife Delicia of Piedmont; five grandchildren, Matthew Stephan, Lindsay Broms, Zoey Reherman, Riley Reherman and Rhett Reherman; sister Emalene Schwarz; and sister in-law Mary Ann Reherman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Elmer and Walter, foster brother Bob Streets and his wife Margie, brother in-law Arnold Schwarz, sisters Jean and Margaret Ann, and grandson Zacary.

A viewing was 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Sanders Funeral Home.

A wake service will be held 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, and the Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24.

Both will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Okarche with burial to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Center of Family Love or Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
