KINGFISHER CROSS COUNTRY coach Kerri Lafferty, left, was the guest speaker last week at the Kingfisher Lions Club meeting. Lafferty updated the Lions Club members on the early successes of this year’s high school and junior high teams. Lafferty is in her third year as head coach. Last year, she guided the Lady Jackets to the Class 4A state championship, the first cross country title in KHS history.
