Museum hosting barn quilt workshop
The Chisholm will hold its popular beginner barn quilt workshop on Saturday, June 21.The workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.Barn quilts are squareshaped boards painted to resemble a quilt block and then put on buildings.

Chris Simon, Brian Walter latest inductees into KHS Hall of Fame
A pair of alumni were inducted into the 2025 class of the Kingfisher High School Hall of Fame.Chris Simon and Brian Walter were introduced Saturday as the hall’s newest members during the commencement ceremonies held at the KHS APB.

Last Saturday proved to be a momentous one in Kingfi sher County. Hubert Haag, left, was one of 89 Kingfi sher High School seniors to walk to the stage as part of the school’s 132nd graduating class. A total of 91 graduated in all.

Guilty plea entered in bank fraud case
The man charged with defrauding Interbank of nearly $900,000 has pleaded guilty to the crime.Timothy Shane Abercrombie, 42, filed the plea last Thursday in the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City.
