HPS board rehires 127 teachers, other staffers
After a brief executive session Monday night the Hennessey Board of Education voted to rehire the following teachers, and support staffers for the 2025-26 school year.

HIGH MARKS – The Kingfi sher Junior High band competed March 6 in the OSSAA district contest at Edmond Santa Fe High School.
Rotary Club hosts 4 KHS seniors
Four Kingfisher High School seniors were guests recently at a meeting of the Kingfisher Rotary Club.Joining the local civic group were Brooke Barton, Mia Franco, Kadyn Daugherty and Hailey Bieren.Barton is the daughter of Benjamin and Lisa Barton.She’s active in STUCO, choir and tennis.
Circle C Paving wins bid for county road chip and oil
Kingfisher County commissioners approved the bid of Circle C Paving of Lawton to apply chips and oil on roads in all three districts Monday at their regular weekly meeting.

Andy Evans and Jan Swart had worked together before.He was the principal and she taught science and coached at Kingfisher Middle School from 2005-07.Their paths crossed again this year.Swart is in her second year as a teacher at Kingfi sher High School.
