Heritage Festival this Thursday in the HPS Outdoor Classroom

Hennessey’s annual Heritage Festival for students and families will be held at the Early Childhood Center’s Outdoor Classroom from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 2.“The event is sponsored by the ECC and everything is free,” said Principal Stacey Mack.

City Hall business hours change soon

Kingfisher City Hall will have new office hours beginning next month.The new business hours will be 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.Hours on Fridays will be 8 a.m. to noon.The hours take effect Monday, May 6.

Local American Legion’s Family Day this Saturday

Keith Lowry-Henry Ellyson Post 5 Commander Jim Kale has announced the post will host its American Legion Family Day.This year’s event is 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 27, at the Post 5 headquarters, 117 W. Miles in Kingfisher.
