Kingfisher County ad valorem taxpayers had paid 17.853% of their property taxes by Tuesday, County Treasurer Robin Rother reported.Sunday, Dec. 31, is the deadline to pay 2023 county ad valorem tax without penalty.Rother reminded that after the deadline, delinquent taxes will draw a 1.

The Hennessey Farmerettes met Thursday Dec. 14, at the home of Jean Striebel for a Christmas celebration.Members brought potluck dishes to share and a variety of food was served to those who attended.In addition to members present at the celebration, several special guests were also in attendance.

Kingfisher High School seniors Andrew Long and Chloe Blair are the December 2023 Junior Lions.The two were guests at recent meetings of the Kingfi sher Lions Club.Long is the son of Aaron and Jannason Long.

Kingfisher County commissioners approved the filing period for the annual election of county fair board members Monday at their weekly meeting.The election will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, in the lobby of the Kingfisher County Courthouse.
