FEMA, in coordination with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) this fall.The national test will consist of two portions, testing WEA and EAS capabilities.

OFFICIAL VISIT – The executive director of the Oklahoma Lions Service Foundation made a visit to the Kingfi sher club last week. Marie Burns updated Kingfi sher Lions on a number of projects.

Several dozen attended Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce’s Women In Business Event held Sept. 21 at the Federated Church. The event featured a meal for attendees, followed by a fashion show that featured items from local boutiques and merchants.
