Man pleads not guilty to solicitation with minor charge

A man arrested after being served a felony warrant by the Kingfisher Police Department and the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation has pleaded not guilty in his first court appearance.Bryan Tollison, 41, of Kingfisher, entered the plea Wednesday in Kingfisher County District Court.

Crimes still germinate from grow facility

Three men are facing felony grand larceny charges after being caught trying to deliver allegedly stolen materials from a marijuana grow facility that previously was the site of a quadruple homicide.

Starla (Cosper) Fuksa has been hired as the interim town administrator by the Hennessey Board of Trustees.A 1977 Hennessey High School graduate, she is the daughter of Don and Pat Cosper.Fuksa was interviewed during a 30-minute executive session at a special meeting Thursday, July 27.

New antique store holds grand opening in Kingfisher

GRAND OPENING – Up From Ashes recently held its grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony at its location at 206 N. Main St. in Kingfisher. The antique store is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
