Tax reform discussion advances in the state senate

Saying passage of the bill sets the stage for discussion of broad tax reform, members of an Oklahoma Senate committee have approved legislation that would put the state on the path to eventually reduce the personal income tax to 2.75 percent.

OEDA to help county prep new emergency management plan

A new emergency management plan update for Kingfisher County will be developed this year thanks to assistance from the Oklahoma Economic Development Authority (OEDA).Kingfisher County commissioners approved a contract with OEDA Monday at their weekly meeting.
