You can get a taste of two holidays this week, beginning with Kingfisher’s Annual Free Thanksgiving Dinner, sponsored by God’s Covenant Church, the Kingfisher Ministerial Alliance and the Elk’s Lodge, scheduled at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at the South Room of the lodge.

The Dover FFA chapter traveled to the panhandle on Nov. 8 to compete in Oklahoma Panhandle State University Interscholastics.The members competed in a variety of events like meat judging, agronomy, floriculture, livestock judging and speech.
