Kingfisher Rotary Club hosted five seniors from Kingfisher High School at its recent meeting.Joining the civic group were Hope Stafford, Mya Dewberry, Cheyenne Kiser, Gentry Taylor and Hallie Barton.Stafford is the daughter of Jeremy and Shawna Stafford.She’s active in softball and FCCLA.

LOMEGA SENIORS Kelby Ott and Sydni Walker were crowned as Mr. and Miss LHS last week. The announcement was made during the annual Lomega High School coronation last Friday night at the school. Mr. and Miss LHS are voted on by the student body.

Hennessey waterline replacements, demolition of daycare building OK’d

Other than questions posed by trustees (see related story) and routine items during the Hennessey Board of Trustees’ monthly meeting, the board last week took two actions: Waterline replacement – Amended a REAP infrastructure grant application to replace waterlines as part of the consent agenda.

The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:Kenneth Buckley, 51, Hydro, driving a 2015 Kenworth, was northbound on U.S. 81 at the traffic signal of S.H. 33.Marci Johnson, 61, Kingfisher, driving a 2011 Infinity, was also northbound on U.S.
