This year has been one exciting ride for the Dover FFA chapter.Members have competed in various competitions and have won multiple awards.From competitions in the area, to competitions miles away, members traveled all over the great state of Oklahoma.

Kingfisher County 4-H members compete in County Food Showdown

Kingfisher County 4-H Food Showdown, Cupcake Wars and FCS Skillathon was held last month at the county fairgrounds.The Cloverbuds decorated cupcakes as monsters, had to name them and tell a little story about their cupcakes.There were six 4-H teams who competed in the Food Showdown.

Local bank gets bid on $1.58 million HPS bonds

Hennessey’s Community State Bank’s bid of 3.3285% was the lowest and best bid on $1.58 million in taxable building bonds for the Hennessey Public Schools.Interest costs are $105,180.60 with a $2,259.40 premium.
