The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:April 26 - Changed lane when unsafe, driving with license canceled/suspended/revoked, DUI-liquor or drugs, violating license restrictions and possession of dangerous drugs prohibited.

Deadline near to request primary absentee ballot

Voters in Kingfisher County who want absentee ballots mailed to them for the June 28, primary election should apply now, County Election Board Secretary Shawna Butts said.Absentee ballots are available to any registered voter, provided they are eligible to vote in the election requested.

No bids received for annex repairs; engineer to pursue new agreement

Kingfisher County commissioners received no bids on a solicitation for labor and materials for repairs, cleaning and painting the exterior of the courthouse annex at their weekly meeting Tuesday.Chairman Heath Dobrovolny directed County Engineer Nik Smith to pursue a new agreement.

Two crashes investigated

Kingfisher Police Department is investigating the following accidents:April 26, 12:15 p.m. - At West Overstreet Avenue and South 13th Street.Brody Boden, Kingfisher, driving a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, was northbound on South 13th Street and attempted to make a left onto West Overstreet Avenue.

Superintendent search under way

The search for Kingfisher Public Schools’ new superintendent officially began Wednesday night.The board of education held a special meeting, which was spent almost exclusively in executive session.
