Voters went to the polls Tuesday to decide the fate of a proposition to renew a one-half cent sales tax in Kingfisher County for five years.If approved, the revenue generated will fund a variety of county services.Polls closed at 7 p.m., which is after this edition went to press.

A new board of directors for the Kingfisher County Jail Trust Authority was named Monday at the Kingfisher County Commissioners weekly meeting.

Lomega Student Council held its annual Veterans Day program on Nov. 11th. Veterans in attendance were served a meal and then an assembly was held in their honor to pay tribute to them for their service to our country.
