Farmerettes donate items to hospitalized veterans

Gathering items to send to the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System was the project that the Hennessey Farmerettes completed on Oct. 9 when the group met at the United Methodist Church.Over 300 items, ranging from toothbrushes, cards, puzzle books, pillows and socks, were collected to be sent.

Kingfisher Rotary hosts 4 KHS seniors

Four Kingfisher High School seniors were guests recently at a meeting of the Kingfisher Rotary Club.Joining the local civic group were Katelynn Brady, Logan Boeckman, Ariana Alvarez-Vega and Livia Varnell.Brady is the daughter of Kennt and Jennifer Brady.
