AG discusses crackdown on illegal grows with Rotarians

Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond told Kingfisher Rotarians last Tuesday that there were more than 9,000 marijuana grow farms operating in Oklahoma when he took office in 2023 and now there are approximately 1,650 left.

Excise board approves county budget

The Kingfisher County Excise Board approved the county 2025 fiscal year budget of $44,044,257.66 Wednesday, up from the F.Y. 24 budget of $37,657,601.54.The budget will be financed with 10 mills of ad valorem tax plus carry- over from the preceding year’s budget.
