Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond told Kingfisher Rotarians last Tuesday that there were more than 9,000 marijuana grow farms operating in Oklahoma when he took office in 2023 and now there are approximately 1,650 left.

The Kingfisher County Excise Board approved the county 2025 fiscal year budget of $44,044,257.66 Wednesday, up from the F.Y. 24 budget of $37,657,601.54.The budget will be financed with 10 mills of ad valorem tax plus carry- over from the preceding year’s budget.

A Kingfisher man who was denied by the city commission to have a property rezoned on Main Street is now asking the courts to overturn that decision.

Kingfisher County Commissioners gave their approval Monday to a Fiscal Year 2025-26 county budget totaling $44,044,257.66 and the county health department budget of $3,725,104.14.County Budget Maker Nick Storm, C.P.A.
