Planning the new year was the top priority at the January meeting of Happy Homemakers. Meeting in the First Christian Church, Amy Tollison called the meeting to order and led the flag salute. Members also reviewed the newsletter about upcoming county projects and deadlines.

A two-week financial course will be hosted next month by Kingfisher County Extension. The workshop begins 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at the Kingfisher County Extension Office. The program will teach participants how to manage their expenses and how to become more financially secure.
