Eagles impressive, beat solid Hinton squad 27-14

Call it another building block for the Hennessey football program.The Eagles moved to 2-1 last Friday with a 27-14 home win against Hinton, a team that made the Class A playoffs last year and is expected to do the same in 2022.

If not for Cashion, Pawhuska might very well be the owner of the last two Class A state football championships.The two teams have met up in each of the last two semifinals and both instant classics swung Cashion’s way before the Wildcats went on to hoist the gold ball in 2020 and 2021.
