Elk City dominated the Western Conference Tennis Tournaments last week, but the Kingfisher High School boys held their own.KHS got at least a fourthplace finish in each of the four brackets Monday to bring home the conference runner-up trophy from Earlywine Tennis Center.

The balance of Kingfisher High School’s basketball team has been evident in the number of different players to receive postseason honors.The latest is junior Xavier Ridenour who earlier this week was named the Oklahoma Basketball Coaches Association District 1 Player of the Year.

KHS boys take 6th against 6A field at Meadowlake in Enid

Kingfisher took on a field of Class 6A schools Tuesday at the Enid Invitational Golf Tournament.The Jackets managed to come back with a sixthplace finish after shooting a 335 at Meadowlake Golf Course.The host Plainsmen won the tournament with a 303, two strokes better than Norman and Choctaw.

Lady Jackets drop 1-0 matchup to Newkirk

KHS dropped its first district soccer game of the season Thursday when Newkirk took home a 1-0 victory. Sophomore forward Jaquelin Rivera (9) is pictured in action against the Lady Tigers. The loss dropped a three-game win streak for the Lady Jackets, who are now 1-1 in 3A-2 games.
