Three frame schoolhouses will be sold at auction by Kingfisher board of education on Monday, June 4.First of these, at 1:30 p.m. will be the old Greenwood school district 77.At 2:30 the schoolhouse located at the west edge of the KHS football field will be sold.

Dr. J.A. Overstreet, an ’89er and one of Kingfisher’s most prominent citizens, died at his beautiful home on South Main street at five minutes after eleven o’clock this morning.

A dozen or more members of the Hennessey Golden Eagles are scheduled for an outing to Kingfi sher this Thursday, May 28.They plan to tour The Chisholm museum and the Seay Mansion.Members are to meet at the Hennessey Senior Citizen Center by 9:15 a.m.
