Three students at Chisholm Trail Technology Center — Brooke Barton, Miranda Borelli and Serenity Lasiter — were recognized at Monday’s Kingfisher County Commissioners’ meeting for creating a directory for the Kingfisher County Centennial Wall.

3 county towns have higher April sales tax

Kingfisher, Hennessey and Cashion received larger April sales tax than they did in April 2025, according to the monthly report of the Oklahoma Tax Commission.The OTC collects sales taxes for state municipalities and counties along with its collection of state sales tax.

Uniforms create positive impact at Catholic school

Nearly one year after Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School adopted a policy requiring students in kindergarten through eighth grade to wear uniforms, Principal Monti Allen has no regrets.“There really is no comparison between last year and this in terms of student attitudes and behavior,” she said.

LOG CABIN BEING BUILT FOR CAMPFIRE GIRLS

A log cabin is under construction at the city park to be used as a meeting house by the local Campfi re Girls organization. The dimensions are 14x26 feet, and ash, oak and elm logs, which were donated are being used.

Yellowjacket Track Team Wins Regional Meet

REGIONAL CHAMPIONS, The Kingfisher Yellowjackets kicked off with a Regional title at Mustang Monday and qualified 11 for the State Meet scheduled Friday and Saturday at Central State university at Edmond.
