With a winless team coming to town and a massive showdown looming the next week, there may have been some cause for concern of the Cashion Wildcats overlooking Watonga.Not to mention it was homecoming week.That concern was extinguished on the game’s very first play.

Traffic accidents

The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:August 13, 11:54 a.m. - At U.S. 81 and S.H. 33. Ryon Boatright, 29, Stillwater, driving a 2022 Ram 3500 towing a trailer, was westbound on S.H. 33 and stopped at the intersection of S.H. 33 and U.S. 81.

Hennessey OKs permit for telecommunications tower

A telecommunications tower will soon be going up in Hennessey on the southwest corner of 7th Street and Cemetery Road.Construction includes “a special provision that the town and/or county could put a repeater on the tower at no expense” to either of those entities.
