Sanders, Dean, Kopp new hall of fame inductees

PILE DRIVING IS

The pile driver for the new bridge over the Cimarron River south of Dover arrived last Sunday and it was put into operation Monday. With good luck, pile driving will be finished this week.

Local Girls To Attend Girls State

The two Kingfisher highschool juniors shown will attend Girls State at Chickasha, June 2-9. The annual citizenship training school is sponsored by the American Legion auxiliary, and is held on the campus of Oklahoma College for Women.

Cashion FFA’s busy March pays off

March was a busy month for the Cashion FFA Chapter, as members began spring competitions, showed at the Oklahoma Youth Expo (OYE) and continued preparing for spring events.The horse judging team traveled to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) and found success.

KHS STUCO raises, donates over $10,000

It’s called STING Week, but there’s more to it than that.Months of work culminated Wednesday afternoon in the Kingfi sher High School commons as members of the Student Council revealed they had raised more than $10,000.“It takes a lot,” said KHS STUCO President Harper Evans.
