Beverly Ann Fisher Cannon was born Sept. 7, 1952, in Kingfisher to Marvin and LaVaughn Fisher and passed away Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the age of 73.

She was a resident of the Okeene community for 36 years where she was retired as postmaster for the United States Postal Service.

Beverly graduated from Kingfisher High School in 1970 and was a member of the Okeene Methodist Church.

On Dec. 4, 1960, Beverly was baptized at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Loyal.

Beverly married Robert Allen Cannon at the Kingfi sher First Baptist Church on Feb. 21, 1970.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Cannon; her parents; and brothers Dennis Fisher, Roy Fisher and Ricky Dale Fisher.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Robert Cannon of the home in Okeene; son Ricky Cannon and wife Jennifer of Okeene; sister Barbara Fisher of Kingfi sher; three grandchildren, Zachary Lozer, Zechiel Lozer and Brookelynn Osmus and husband Clay; nine great-grandchildren; Brandon Lozer, Zaiden Lozer, Braden Lozer, Zanden Lozer, Kaley Lozer, Kiley Lozer, Hudson Lozer, Lincoln Osmus and Grant Osmus; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services for Beverly were Tuesday, June 9, at the Okeene Methodist Church with Pastor Quinton Wray officiating.

Burial followed in the Roselawn Cemetery in Okeene with Wilkinson Mortuary of Okeene in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Donations will need to be mailed directly to the foundation or donate directly to give.cff.org
