Danny Ray Lukasek was born on May 15, 1948, in Kingfisher to Frank and Marjorie (Smith) Lukasek. He passed away July 9, 2026, at the age of 78. Danny graduated from Big Four School in 1966 and continued his education at Okmulgee Technical School. In 1968, he enlisted in the United States Navy, serving aboard the USS Graffias. He volunteered for service in Vietnam and was honorably discharged in 1970.

On Aug. 7, 1971, Danny married Carol (Blehm) Lukasek.

Danny began his career working as a plumber with Bob & Ken’s in Kingfisher. He earned his plumbing contractor’s license and in 1979 founded Danny’s Plumbing.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Lukasek; brothers Allen (Donna) Lukasek of Muldrow and Don (Alisa) Lukasek of Montgomery, Texas; sister Joyce (Ted) Payne of Crescent sons, Shane (Kelly), Justin (Lori) and Cody, all of Kingfisher; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; as well as other extended family.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents and his great-grandson, Aceon Lukasek.

Graveside services were 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, at Kingfisher Cemetery with arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home.
