Darrell Bullard
Darrell Olden Bullard, 84, of Dover, passed away Aug. 15, 2026.
He was born March 21, 1942, in Vinita to Walter R. Bullard and Willadean Ruth McCully Bullard, both of whom preceded him in death.
Darrell was also preceded in death by his sister, Carrol Ann Bullard Heupel Mueggenborg. He is survived by his sister, Linda Sue Bullard, who continues to carry forward the family’s stories and memories.
Darrell spent many years working at the Kingfisher Co-op, where he became a familiar and trusted face to farmers, ranchers and neighbors throughout the community.
Known for his friendly nature and never meeting a stranger, he enjoyed long mornings at the co-op and afternoons visiting with friends at Sunrise Café or City Café.
His cowboy spirit – complete with the sound of spurs on his boots – made him unforgettable to all who knew him.
After retiring, Darrell cherished time with his grandchildren and embraced the slower, peaceful rhythm of retired life. His greatest joy came from family and he passed down the same old school values, humor and warmth that shaped his own upbringing.
Darrell is survived by his loving wife, Rhonda Bullard, and his children Greg Bullard, Gina Sigl, Viki Whitman, Kattarina Cope, Cherokee Bullard, Jessica Bullard, Shadow Bullard, Maverick Jones, Lakota Bullard and Laramie Bullard.
He leaves behind grandchildren who loved him dearly and will carry his legacy forward.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at LifeWay Church in Kingfisher under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.
Guests are encouraged to wear western attire.
Darrell will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
