Helen Kay Rector
Helen Kay (Triplett) Rector was born Sept. 4, 1937, in the Kingfisher hospital to Walter and Pearl Triplett of Reeding.
She passed on to a better life on June 16, 2026, to be with her Lord.
Helen attended Cashion School and graduated with the class of 1955.
She worked for Jno. Pendleton, M.D., in Kingfi sher, then graduated from comptometer school in Oklahoma City and worked for Nabisco.
Later, she was employed by the U.S. Post Office in Cashion and the office of the Farmer’s Exchange Elevator.
She married the love of her life, John Palmer Rector, on Nov. 11, 1956, and had 60 wonderful years together.
They had two sons, Gregory Alan and Barry Wade Rector.
She is survived by her sons Gregory Alan and wife Cynthia of Cashion and Barry Wade and wife Pamela of Edmond; grandchildren Christian Wilbur and husband Jacob of Edmond, Garrett Rector and wife Kelsey of Cashion, Bradley Wade Rector of Edmond, Ramsey Palmer Rector and wife Faith of Mulhall, and Benton Wade Rector, Bryce Hudson Rector and Benjamin Wade Rector of Edmond; great-grandsons, Karter Jacob and Kacen Christian Wilbur; great-granddaughter Kollyns Elizabeth Wilbur of Edmond; great-grandson Everett James Rector of Cashion; great-granddaughter Palmer Rae Rector of Mulhall; and brother Marvin Triplett of Edmond.
Visitation for Helen will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, June 26, at Sanders Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27, at Cashion Christian Church with burial following at Cashion Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.
