Jeannie Annette Swisher, 67, of Kingfisher, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2026, at Cimarron Nursing Center in Kingfisher, surrounded by her loving sons and sisters.

Jeannie was born on March 23, 1959, in Cushing to Emery and Emily Swisher.

She graduated from Dover High School and devoted many years of her life to caring for others.

She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Mercy Hospital before continuing her career at Chisholm Trail Technology Center.

She spent much of her life in Okarche and Kingfi sher, where she built lasting friendships and touched countless lives through her kindness and compassionate heart.

Jeannie found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved sewing, baking and creating things for the people she loved.

Whether she was making something by hand or sharing a homemade treat, she found ways to make others feel loved.

More than anything, her three boys were her greatest pride and joy.

She never hesitated to spend countless hours at baseball fields and traveling tournaments, faithfully cheering them on every step of the way.

As her family grew, becoming “MoMo” became one of her greatest blessings.

Her grandchildren brought endless smiles to her face and filled her heart with happiness.

Jeannie is survived by her mother, Emily Swisher; her brothers, Ed Swisher, Delbert Swisher and Leslie Swisher; her sisters, Deidra Damron, Brenda Christian and Amy Clark; her children, Matt Francis and wife Ashley and their children Hudson and Hadlee; Kurt Francis and wife Katie and their children Ayden and Gemma; Clint Francis and wife Kaitlyn and their daughters Kora and Kollyns; and stepdaughter Karen Alig and husband Joe and their sons Briley and Brady.

She was preceded in death by her father, Emery Swisher.

Jeannie’s legacy will live on through the love she poured into her family, the lives she touched through her work and the countless memories made around ball fields, family gatherings and her kitchen.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.

A funeral service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Kingfisher. Burial will follow the service at the Kingfisher Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home-Kingfisher.
