Recitation of the Rosary for Leroy W. Fuksa, 85, was Wednesday June 24, at Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home. Graveside services were Thursday at Calvary Cemetery.

Leroy was born northwest of Hennessey on Nov. 19, 1940, to John M. and Christina Janky Fuksa and died Friday June 19, 2026, at Hennessey Care Center.

He married Ruth Winters in Hennessey on Sept. 9, 1961.

Leroy is survived by three sons, Todd Fuksa and wife Gina, Darin Fuksa and wife Dana and David Fuksa and wife Katrina; daughter Dana Ashcraft and Michael Drake; 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son Mark Fuksa, brother Leonard Fuksa, sister Leona Melton and two grandchildren.
