The funeral for Patricia Louise Wylie Cosper, 85, was Friday, Aug. 21, at First United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Sandra Shepherd.

Burial followed at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Pat was born in Fairfield, Ill., on April 3, 1941, to Maxwell Edgar and Mabel L. West Wylie and died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026, at Hennessey Care Center.

She married Donald Ray Cosper in McLeansboro, Ill., April 1, 1958.

She is survived by daughter Starla Fuksa of Hennessey, son Blake Cosper and wife Janice of Nixa, Mo., three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Don; grandchildren Michael Bradyn Fuksa and Laryn Ann Fuksa; and sister Peggy Ann Ruphard and husband Joe Dale.
