Betty Ellen Brinkley Funderburg was born July 15, 1928, to Earl and Ada Wilson Brinkley in Wilburton and went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Feb. 28, 2021, with her best friend, her daughter, by her side.

Don Leslie Gosney was born Dec. 25, 1955, in Okeene to John and Mary (Dow) Gosney. He died Feb. 27, 2021, at the age of 65. Don attended Cheyenne Valley School through the second grade. When CVS closed, Don attended Fairview Schools and graduated from Fairview High School in 1974.

Carl A. Horne, 60, Kingfisher, passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 22, 2021. He was born in Sonora, Texas, on June 12, 1961, to William R. Horne and Cena “Faye” Morris Horne. Carl was an avid fisherman. He loved to fish anywhere, especially for catfish, whether it was with a rod or hand noodling.

Clifford Leroy Willson gently passed from this life Feb. 18, 2021. Clifford was born May 23, 1942, to Orville Alton Willson and Elizabeth Madeline Campbell. Clifford was raised on a farm west of Dover. Clifford attended and graduated from high school in Dover. He enlisted in the Navy on Sept.

J. Gaylord Ortman, 89, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Feb. 20, 2021. Gaylord was born Dec. 4, 1931, in Hennessey, the only child to Garwood and Hutoka Ortman. His youth was surrounded by movies and the “Golden age of Hollywood.

Denise K. Meyer, 62, said goodbye to her earthly family and joined the heavenly chorus in the presence of her Savior on Feb. 12, 2021, in Salina, Kan. Denise was born Dec. 13, 1958, in Okarche to Arthur F. and Ruth J. (Brueggen) Annuschat. She married her high school sweetheart Michael (Mike) A.

Denise K. Meyer, 62, formerly of Okarche, died Feb. 12, 2021, in Salina, Kan. A socially distanced public visitation will be Friday, Feb. 26, at Sanders Funeral Home in Kingfisher followed by a private family graveside service at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Okarche.

Funeral service for Edward “Eddie” Kuehn will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, at the Okarche First Baptist Church with Rev. James Inman officiating. Burial will follow in the Kingfisher Cemetery. A come-and-go viewing will be held at Wilson Funeral Home at 1612 S. Main St.
