Roberta Louise Swyden, 90, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021, in Cashion. Services will be 10 a.m Tuesday, Jan. 26, at Mercer-Adams Chapel in Bethany with Peter Schuppel officiating. Interment will follow at Cashion Cemetery. Roberta was born Nov. 29, 1930, in Bethany to Noah and Arvirdie Cotton.

Leroy William Smith was born June 10, 1960, at St. Anthony’s Hospital to Phyllis (Jackson) and Arnold Smith. He passed away Jan. 10, 2021, at the age of 60 at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City. Leroy was raised in Okarche and graduated from Okarche High School in 1978.

Shelley Dawn Privott, 49, of Kingfisher, passed away Thursday Jan. 14, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Kingfisher. Shelley was born March 27, 1971, to Olin and Linda Privott. Public Schools where she played saxophone in the high school band and was co-drum major her senior year.

Mildred Mae Swisher, 93, Kingfisher, longtime resident of Dover, died at her home Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021. A graveside service was Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Dover Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home of Hennessey.

Shirley Ann (Green) Fuksa was born March 13, 1938, to Andrew Oren Green and Vera Pauline (Lightle) Green in Lovell. Due to CHF, Shirley, also known as Margret to family in Texas, went home to be with the Lord on Aug 27, 2020.

Mildred Swisher, 93, Kingfisher, longtime resident of Dover, passed away Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Dover Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home of Hennessey. The service will be streamed on the Cordry-Gritz Facebook page.

Stanley Joe Kadavy was born April 30, 1935, to Jerry and Mary Kadavy, the fifth child of seven, and he passed away Jan. 13, 2021. He was 85 years old.

Teresa Charlene Harms was born Nov. 3, 1947, and departed this life Jan. 5, 2021. Teresa was the oldest of five children born to Barney and Arthelia Bridges. She married Gary Harms on Nov. 27,1965, and to this marriage they welcomed two children, Gary Harms Jr. and Rebecca Harms.

Charles Lewallen was born Aug. 24, 1947, in Wilson, the fifth of eight children to Vergil and Oma Dee (Stanley) Lewallen. He departed this life Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021, at Fairview.

Surrounded by love and prayer from her two daughters, Donna Kay Mese went home to Heaven on Jan. 12, 2021, after nearly two months battling COVID-19. The family is heartbroken by her loss, but feels immense joy that she has been reunited with her beloved husband Jason.
